CHILD SAFETY

The Champaign County Sheriff’s Office encourages parents and caregivers to check out the OFFENDERWATCH APP, a tracking app designed to locate registered sex offenders near their child and send alerts if registered sex offenders contact their child through calls, texts, emails—or if the child lingers too close to a registered offender’s residence. This additional layer of protection can provide extra security for children and peace of mind for those caring for them.

BULLYING

Bullying has become a tidal wave of epic proportions.
